Hard Hat Restaurant: Your Go-To Spot for Breakfast & Brunch in Wooster, OH

Every time I come into town, I come here with my father-in-law. This is a great little place where one can get a good meal at a good price. Family-owned business that has a lot of regulars that come in. The waitress already knows their order! This is not a fast-food place. Highly recommended by regular customers!

I would give this place a 20 out of 10 the food is so good the service, the atmosphere is amazing it's like an old-school Diner family-owned and operated I loved it I would recommend this place over and over

Great little breakfast/lunch spot. Has great food, great service, very reasonable. Everything tasted like it was from scratch and very fresh. Highly recommend this place.

As you drive by the place, assuming you even have a reason to be in this industrial part of town, you may be inclined to turn up your nose, but don't. It is a real Diamond In The Rough. They have one of the best breakfasts in town, and they serve it all day. It comes fast and at prices that make you think about not cooking anymore and just eating out. Unfortunately, they don't serve it every day but, if you can get there before 1 PM on any day but Sunday or Monday, you will be well pleased.

Nice little restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. We decided to stop on whim and try a new place. Once we stepped in, you can see that they embrace their namesake. They have hard hats lined above the bar, and it's cool to see all of the different companies represented on them. It is seat yourself, first come first served. There was a bit of a wait for our food, but not off putting. The place was full the whole time, so it was understandable and they did a good job. The serving sizes were good, and the pancakes were huge. They are plate sized and thick, so order wisely lol. Everything tasted great and the staff was friendly and efficient. We will definitely be returning and suggest checking them out when in the area.

Quant little local breakfast place. Great service, the food was excellent. The Portion of corned beef was a little small (granted it was probably a proper size portion, but we’re used to overeating lol) coffee was good. As the little sign says when you walk in, it’s not fast food since it’s made to order so if you’re in a rush go someplace else. I would go back again.

In from out of town. First visit. Hard Hat had great reviews and they are certainly deserving. We had breakfast. Portions were big, quality great and prices reasonable. Clearly much of their success is due to their incredible teamwork. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant was busy on a Saturday morning and the food came out fast.
